This scheme comprises land sandwiched between junction 8 of the M1 motorway and Maylands, the major industrial zone serving Hemel Hempstead and the wider Hertfordshire area. Arland Property has been retained by the Crown Estate as its Development Manager on the Central Commercial Zone. The Central Commercial Zone sits in an Enterprise Zone and is part of a master planned development providing 2,500 houses with ancillary facilities and up to 2,000,000 square feet of commercial space. A planning application is currently being prepared by The Crown Estate.
